Terms of Service - Aligned

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aligned ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Aligned is the time wellness app — a calendar designed around how you actually live your week. Users can plan events in time bands, invite the people who matter, and reflect on the shape of their week. Aligned is currently in private beta, with early access offered through a waitlist.

3. User Accounts

Creating an account allows you to manage your calendar, events, and contacts. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Send spam or unsolicited messages
Impersonate others or provide false information
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (events, titles, notes). By creating content, you grant us a license to display it back to you and to the people you choose to invite. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you post.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as Google Calendar). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We do not store data from these third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JB CAPITAL BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
